Miranda Lui, Founder and Managing Director of #MESGroup, represented World Chinese Enterprising Youth Association (WCEYA) 世界華人菁英會 moderated an online & offline panel conference in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU).

Dr Jack C.P. Cheng, Independent Non-Executive Director of MES Group, was invited as one the speakers of the Conference.

The Conference was held on 24th September 2020 at 3:30pm to 5:00pm and organized by World Federation of Chinese Entrepreneurs Organization and World Chinese Enterprising Youth Association (WCEYA).

The discussion topic on the Sustainable Development of Smart Cities is to promote Innovation Technology Green (ITG) Community. We have invited speakers/delegates from mainland China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, etc.

An Innovation, Technology and Green (ITG) Community refers the notions of green, ecological and environmental innovation to promote sustainable smart living where to focus human-centric and includes a social dimension. An ITG Community embraces science and technology to provide innovative mixed-use facilities and affordable housing in meeting varied needs of residents. An ITG Community provides a diverse and financially viable economic base and better care for the youth and it fosters a community spirit that creates a sense of belongings, a sense of place, and a sense of self-worth. ​

The objective of this Conference is to gather views from leaders of different disciplines and regions, with the aim to explore how ITG Communities meet the goal of sustainable development of smart cities.​
