On 29th March 2019, Sr Miranda Lui from MES Group was invited by Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) for a CPD seminar on “BIM & Platform Strategy for Construction”.

This presentation focused on platform strategy and how BIM applications make use of platform strategy benefit to us.

Firstly, Sr Miranda Lui outlined the emerging platform strategy in construction in major economies. Especially sharing the latest experience of adopting NEC contract management as well as commercial management platforms across the globe.

Also, Sr Lui illustrated how BIM applications with platform tackle the challenges within the industry in a practical and productive way.

Case studies were shared to inspire the audience to rethink and further reprocess our existing workflow and practice.

Finally, Sr Lui suggested how professionals, consultancies and contractors can do to keep up with the global transformation to improve productivity and competitiveness.

We received overwhelming response. The young surveyors were interested in Sr Lui’s talk with positive feedbacks.
