Hong Kong Project
This project site occupies an area of 3287 square metres (m²).for the construction of two units of 25 to 26 storey quarters blocks with a total construction floor area (CFA) of about 23860 m² for the provision of 306 H-grade departmental quarters units1.
Ancillary facilities includes:
(i) a building management office
(ii) amenity and communal areas, with a multi-function room 2
(iii) 35 private car-park and 4 motorcycle parking space and related sewerage works.
In this project, MES use BIM to develop the BIM model LOD400 for the delivery of an Asset Information Model (AIM), which will helps owner, and facility management team to have a better collaboration of the as-built record such as site survey and as-built drawings.
This will also assist to facilitate property management during as-built and facility management period and minimize work duplication and maximize the efficiency.
Common Data Environment (CDE) is defined and used as single source of information for any given project: to collect, manage and disseminate all relevant approved project documents for multi-disciplinary teams in a managed process.
