Our Project Director Mr. Kelvin Kuo, was invited by The Hong Kong Institute of Real Estate Administrators (HIREA) 香港地產行政師學會, to share the new Technical Circular – Digital Works Supervision System (DWSS).

The Digital Works Supervision System (DWSS) is essentially a web-based centralized portal of collecting construction works information and managing the workflows of site activities to enhance efficiency, safety and quality performance.
According to Development Bureau no. 3/2020, from 1st April 2020, capital works exceeding HK$300M are required to adopt the DWSS with an aim of enhancing the standard and efficiency of works supervision as well as the quality and safety of works.
To meet both the Government and ISO 19650 CDE requirements and the need of Contractors, MES has developed our own DWSS which can be adopted to a BIM/Common Data Environment (CDE) platform and it is easy to use with a simple user interface.
Kelvin was introduced the platform for DWSS with local examples to share experiences and for discussions with participants in the following areas:
(A) Introduction of DWSS
(B) The practical application of DWSS in 5 mandatory modules:
– Request for Inspection/ Survey Check (RISC) Form;
– Site Diary/ Site Record Book;
– Site Safety Inspection Records;
– Cleaning Inspection Checklists;
– Labour Return Record.
